Is your teenager's life worth two hours of your time?

Georgia Teens Ride With P.R.I.D.E. (Parents Reducing Injuries and Driver Error) is a FREE, National Award- Winning two-hour course designed to help parents and their new (or soon to be) teen drivers, ages 14-16, learn what they need to do during the 40 hours of supervised practice driving time required by Georgia law. There are no attendance restrictions. You may attend P.R.I.D.E. anywhere a class is offered.

For the latest information about Joshua's Law and Driver's Education requirements in Georgia, click here.

Rather than a technical hands-on driver training course, this program addresses driver attitude, knowledge and behavior of both the parent and new teen driver. Register today! Teens and Parents must register to attend.

Does P.R.I.D.E. really work? A formal evaluation of parents and teens shows P.R.I.D.E. provides measurable increases in knowledge about safe driving practices, risk factors, and Georgia law. Knowledge about safety, elminating risk, and steps for graduated driving practice can save lives.

Still not sure if P.R.I.D.E. is for you? Click here for details about the two-hour course to start a conversation with your teen about the requirements for getting and keeping a driver's license. Click here to see Supporters of the P.R.I.D.E. program.

Parents are saying, "       "

"My son and I attended the Ga Teen Pride Driving Class this summer. We were educated about the 3 types of licenses that are issued to teens and also the new laws in the State of Georgia. We watched some videos that portrayed what can happen if you aren’t driving safely and/or properly restrained. It was a vey informative class and I learned things that I didn’t know. It was very impacting. After we left my teen and I were able to discuss what we learned and how to avoid unnecessary accidents. I highly recommend this class to parents and teens who are about to obtain a Drivers License." - Magdalene M. Lumpkin County

"After my child completed driver's education I realized I didn't know what to do during the mandated 40 hours of supervised driving practice. P.R.I.D.E. taught me exactly what I need to do and how to act towards my child. She's really glad for that and I am too!"    - Y.T. Thomasville, GA

"The Georgia Teens Ride with P.R.I.D.E. driver's education course was a wonderful and enlightening experience for my daughter, wife and me. We are continuing to use many of the free handouts obtained from the course."    - D.H. Augusta, GA

"It helped me to see how I come across to my child - I need to work on my attitude! I learned about laws & rules I was unaware of. I think I will be a better teacher now."   - J.D. Dalton,GA

"The course was realistic and made me think of my actions as the role of 'driving instructor' instead of parent. It does show some of the mistakes we as parents are making and the fear of this driving experience. I truly enjoyed the course."   - M.H. McDonough,GA

"Thank you for this class. It has really made me more aware of my own driving. When you have been driving for 30+ years, you get in habits that may not be illegal or unsafe but are nonetheless habits. Thank you again and I've told many people about this opportunity for young people and their parents."   -C.R. Woodstock,GA

"It taught me to be a safe driver and ALWAYS BUCKLE UP!"  - D.R. Lithonia, GA

"I like the videos that were shown to show young drivers the after effects of reckless driving. I love the course."    - M.F. Stone Mountain, GA

"It was real. It wasn't a "what if" class. It was real!"  - H.W. Chatsworth, GA

"This class made me really understand the importance of driving laws more! Thanks."  - T.G. Bloomingdale, GA
